Cambridge Assessment English is now inviting proposals for its latest round of research funding, available for small, medium and large-scale research projects focusing on Cambridge English exams and teaching qualifications.
Funding of up to £15,000 per project is available, with educational institutions and qualified researchers invited to submit proposals on the topics of test validation, contexts of test use, test impact or Learning Oriented Assessment.
All proposals must relate to specific Cambridge English examinations or teaching qualifications.
Proposals for the Funded Research Programme must be submitted to Cambridge English by midnight GMT October 1 2014, with research completed between December 2014 and October 2015. Full information on the application process, and the list of related Cambridge English exams, can be found on the Research and Validation section of the Cambridge English website.
The Cambridge English Funded Research Programme, launched in 2009, both supports the career development of educational professionals and funds research designed to ensure Cambridge English tests remain fair, accurate and valid. Results of funded projects are also eligible for inclusion in Research Notes, the quarterly publication reporting on Cambridge English research, test development and validation issues.
