In this webinar, we will look at how digital tools can be used to help support the teaching and learning of vocabulary.
We will give practical ideas of tools, apps and websites that teachers can use for teaching vocabulary both inside and outside the classroom and how such tools can be used to help learners with the meaning, pronunciation and spelling of vocabulary. We will explore how memorisation and personalisation of vocabulary can be made more effective through the use of digital tools and how they can help encourage collaboration between learners.
David has over twenty years’ experience of teaching English in the UK and overseas. He worked in educational management in London for nine years. He has substantial experience in course and curriculum design. He now works as an examiner, academic English teacher, teacher trainer and consultant. He regularly provides teaching and learning material for the Cambridge English website, and has a particular interest in using technology in education.
At Cambridge English, Tom is responsible for a range of digital products for learners, teachers and parents. He has worked on many different projects including apps, games and online courses. He is a Delta qualified English teacher and before joining Cambridge English he worked in a language school in Cambridge.
