Who is the Roadshow for?
The Roadshow is intended for school teachers who
- want to find out more about offering the Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE), Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KET) or Cambridge English: Preliminary for Schools (PET) tests
or
- have recently started preparing learners for these tests
Why should you attend?
You will benefit from the chance to
- learn from approved Cambridge English presenters
- participate in activities for the classroom
- share experiences with colleagues
- take away material or ideas for lessons and activities
- experience different teaching techniques
There is no charge for these events, which have been organized to support the Cambridge English Teacher community. We will also provide a certificate of attendance for delegates.
We have a limited number of seats for each roadshow so please register online as soon as possible. Joining instructions will be sent to you when you have registered.
About the speaker: Lydia Kellas
After training as a teacher in the UK, Lydia started English language teaching in the Canary Islands, Spain, and then in several other countries. In the following years she added CELTA, DELTA, BA (Hons) and MBA in Educational Management to her list of qualifications. Lydia is a co-author for Cambridge University Press (CUP), Teacher Trainer, CELTA main course tutor, Cambridge oral examiner and exam administrator. For many years Lydia has been resident in Cyprus, where she lives with her husband, two daughters and several cats.
About the speaker: Aslıcan Kasar
Aslican Kasar has been involved in exam operations for the last 3 years. She has worked at British Council’s IELTS team as exams assistant, exam supervisor and network services coordinator. Aslican has completed her education at London School of Economics with a Management & Law major. She’s currently working for Cambridge Assessment as Business Development Support Manager.
