Who is the Roadshow for?
The Roadshow is intended for school teachers who
- want to find out more about offering the Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE), Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KET) or Cambridge English: Preliminary for Schools (PET) tests
or
- have recently started preparing learners for these tests
Why should you attend?
You will benefit from the chance to
- learn from approved Cambridge English presenters
- participate in activities for the classroom
- share experiences with colleagues
- take away material or ideas for lessons and activities
- experience different teaching techniques
There is no charge for these events, which have been organized to support the Cambridge English Teacher community. We will also provide a certificate of attendance for delegates.
We have a limited number of seats for each roadshow so please register online as soon as possible. Joining instructions will be sent to you when you have registered.
About the speaker: Pinar Boynikoglu
Having graduated from Kocaeli University, English Language and Literature department in 2006, Pınar Boynikoğlu completed an English language teaching program at Doguş University. She was awarded the Cambridge English ICELT Certificate in 2008. After completing Workshop Presenters and Train the Trainer courses, she ran workshops in schools and at ELT conferences. Lastly, she has completed the Teacher Education and Leadership Academy programme entitled Pearson Assured Master Trainer Certificate Programme. She has taught both young learners and teenagers so far. She is currently working as the Vice Principal in Koşuyolu Küçük Şeyler Kindergarten. She is also the co-founder and the director of Kido Kiddies Club. Her main teaching interests are Whole-Brain Teaching, Technology, the 21st Century Teaching Skills and Young Learners.
About the speaker: Meltem Bottomley
Meltem Bottomley graduated from Marmara University, English Language Teaching Department in 1994. She has a postgraduate certificate in British Cultural Studies from Warwick University. She worked as an EFL and substitute teacher at various levels in Scotland for nine years. She’s has been a freelance teacher trainer since 2011. She worked as a Speaking Examiner but now prefers doing presentations. Meltem is a constant learner and believes that learning is contagious. She is a mother of two and loves being kept busy.
