Steve is responsible for managing small- and medium-size projects with ministries of education and education institutions internationally. He is also responsible for the management of the project on a day to day basis throughout the project’s life span through to project close.

Steve has 10 years’ experience in assessment and teaching in a variety of roles across various parts of the business. Steve started his career with Cambridge Assessment English in Operations then moving to Service Delivery in OCR. Steve then moved to Asia as an English as a Foreign Language and Science teacher. Prior to his current position he had been working in education reform as a project manager and consultant for Cambridge University Press.

Recent projects

• Steve has primarily worked on projects for the Ministry of Education in the UAE, as well as consulting on smaller projects with Oman and Thailand while at Cambridge University Press.
• In his role at Cambridge English he has worked on projects such as helping the Estonian Ministry of Education promote the academic mobility of the country's residents through provision of a CEFR C1-level test as a substitute for the state examination, to aid higher performing students with an internationally recognised qualification.
• Other projects include working with the French Ministry of Education to allow high school students to get an international certificate at their language level through a Cambridge English certificate, and with the National University of Malaysia to align their exams to the CEFR.
