Alexandra Purcell
Alex has been working in ELT since 2005. Since moving to Spain in 2009 she has taught classes of all ages and levels, and delivered teacher training courses on a variety of topics and methodologies. She holds a DELTA and particularly enjoys helping teachers prepare their students for exams. She is a Professional Learning and Development Trainer for Cambridge University Press Iberia.
Andrea Tolve
Andrea Tolve is currently Professional Learning and Development Manager for Cambridge University Press Iberia and has been working in the ELT world since 1999. She started working in Zagreb, Croatia as a teacher and coordinator of private language schools before moving to Spain in 2003. On moving to Spain, Andrea was a teacher and account manager at International House Madrid and followed this by becoming a Director of Studies at her own school. She has a Master of Arts in Education specialising in Applied Linguistics with the Open University and her interests are in teacher learning and development.
George Heritage
George started working at Cambridge Assessment English in 2013 after over 10 years’ experience teaching English in Latin America, Iberia and the UK to students of all ages and levels. He worked in Assessment at Cambridge Assessment English for 3 years on a variety of exams and the Young Learners revision project, before moving to the Assessment Services department in the Madrid office in 2016.
Mark Meredith
Mark is a Professional Learning and Development Trainer for Cambridge University Press. Since arriving in Spain he has taught primary and secondary students as well as future university students on pre-sessional programs. He has also run professional development training sessions and courses with teachers from across Spain and Portugal as well as delivering local and international webinars. He holds a Trinity DipTesol and an MA in TESOL from Lancaster University.
Rachel Jeffries
Rachel started her teaching career over 10 years ago as a secondary teacher of Drama. She has experience in teaching a wide range of ages and nationalities, in various countries. Rachel has written a booklet of creative drama activities to accompany Storyfun (Cambridge University Press) as well a creative drama project. She holds the PGDE and the DELTA. Rachel is currently Pedagogical Lead at Cambridge University Press Iberia.
Victoria Peña
Victoria Peña has worked for Cambridge Assessment English since September 2018. Prior to that, she taught English to preschool, primary and secondary school students for ten years, as well as preparing adults for Cambridge examinations. Since joining Cambridge Assessment English, she has been involved in creating content for teachers and collaborating in government bilingual projects.
