Over 300 organisations and institutions have formally recognised Cambridge English qualifications and tests since January 2018. This includes a number of well-known global brands in the corporate sector and key educational institutions around the world.
Highlights in the higher education sector:
- Universidad Católica de Córdoba, in Argentina who accept C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency for admissions on their Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses as well as B2 First for UG admissions.
- University of Windsor, in Canada recognising C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency and IELTS for UG admissions.
- Waseda University - School of Culture, Media and Society, in Japan accept B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency for UG programmes admission.
- United Business Institute - UBI Luxembourg accepting C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, IELTS, C1 Business Higher and BULATS for UG admissions.
- DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore accepting C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency and IELTS for UG Admission.
- Beirut Arab University, the American University of Technology, and Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon are all now accepting or using one or more Cambridge English Qualifications.
Other highlights:
- Four of the main accountancy firms in Australia now accept Cambridge English exams for recruitment of staff. These are: PwC, KMPG, Deloitte and EY who all list C1 Advanced in recent job advertisements.
- In Spain, the celebrity magazine Hola! recently included C1 Advanced in a job advert. Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Volkswagen, David Lloyd Leisure and Ricoh in Spain have all also recently asked for Cambridge English Qualifications in job advertisements.
- Hays recruitment and Renault trucks in France have listed BULATS in recruitment adverts as meeting English language requirements.
- Swiss International Airlines, accept C1 Advanced for recruits onto their pilot training scheme.
- In China, Airbus helicopters are recruiting staff that have the B1 Business Preliminary level of English.
- The Ministry of Education in Mendoza, Argentina have confirmed their recognition of B2 First. This meets the required level of English for tertiary vocational education across the province, including technical courses and qualifications at diploma level across a broad range from tourism and hospitality to education, health, management, agriculture and marketing.
- B2 First and C1 Advanced are now recognised as proof of English Language proficiency by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) for teachers in Dubai.
