Tania has an MPhil in Psychology and Education and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Education with English and Drama from the University of Cambridge, where she also completed her Graduate Basis for Chartered membership with the British Psychological Society. Her interests lie in psychometric testing, and she is currently finishing her Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing (C-CET).
Tania works on the Cambridge English Malaysia Project and on research related to Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing. Before joining Cambridge Assessment English, Tania worked as an Assessment Manager for the 5–14 programme at Cambridge Assessment International Education, and has conducted research in India and Indonesia investigating how young learners interact with on-screen tests in terms of their cognitive and motor skills. Prior to this, Tania published research she conducted in UK secondary schools evaluating the role of arts subjects in promoting wellbeing at school. She presented the findings of this two-part study at the British Psychological Society Annual Education Conference.
