Why Cambridge English?
Cambridge English: First for Schools is specially tailored to suit the interests of students, so it increases their motivation to learn English. Because it is based on familiar topics and situations, it gives them the confidence to use their English and inspires them to move on to further qualifications. Cambridge English: First for Schools is at an upper-intermediate level.
To make sure our exams are up to date with the latest research in language learning and teaching, we review them regularly. The revision of Cambridge English: First for Schools is now complete and the updated exam will start being used for exam sessions in January 2015.
We’re also introducing changes to the way results are reported. The Cambridge English Scale will enable us to give clearer and more detailed information about students’ performance, both overall and in the individual elements of the exam.
