Why Cambridge English?
As part of our regular review of the assessment services which we provide, we have decided that the last Cambridge English: Legal (ILEC) exam sessions will be in December 2016. We are giving extensive notice of this change so that you won’t be affected if you’ve already started a preparation course.
We recommend Cambridge English: Advanced as the best alternative to Cambridge English: Legal. Targeted at CEFR Level C1, it assesses the language skills required by professionals in the workplace and is recognised by more than 6,000 universities, businesses, government departments and other organisations around the world. We also offer Cambridge English: Business Higher which tests an advanced level of English in a professional context.
Alternatives targeted at CEFR Level B2 include Cambridge English: First and Cambridge English: Business Vantage.
Cambridge English: Legal, also known as International Legal English Certificate (ILEC), will help you show you have the language skills for a successful career in international law. It is a high-level qualification.
Cambridge English: Legal has been created especially for lawyers by Cambridge English Language Assessment and TransLegal – Europe’s leading firm of lawyer-linguists.
