This webinar is for teachers, Directors of Studies and teacher trainers interested in planning continuing professional development.
In this webinar we will give an overview of the Cambridge English Trainer Framework and the research behind it. We’ll then demonstrate how it can be used to develop teacher training competencies and will introduce participants to a range of practical ideas and resources to support trainer development.

Alan Mackenzie
Alan Mackenzie is Academic Director, Projects for Norwich Institute for Language Education (NILE). Spending 24 years in Asia as a teacher, trainer and latterly project manager for the British Council in East Asia, India and Pakistan, he is interested in learner and teacher autonomy, monitoring and evaluating educational change projects.
Monica Poulter
Monica Poulter is currently Teacher Development Manager at Cambridge Assessment English. For over 20 years she has worked with teachers, trainers and external consultants in the area of teacher assessment. She previously worked as a teacher and trainer in a variety of educational institutions in Germany, Czechoslovakia, Cameroon and the UK.
