She has a degree in Linguistics, a DELTA, an MA in Linguistics and TESOL, and an MA in Language Testing.
She is currently studying for a PhD in Language Testing at CRELLA.
Jane likes languages, culture, food and travelling. Before returning to the UK to take up her post at Cambridge English, Jane lived and worked outside the UK for 25 years in Japan, South East Asia, Turkey and the Middle East as a teacher, trainer, curriculum developer, and manager in state schools and higher education. Most recently she worked in the UAE higher education sector, specialising in standardising curriculum and assessment at national level. She has learned the languages of the countries she has lived in and also enjoys immersing herself in films and culture, and sharing food with friends.
