Speaking to parents about the exams

The start of the academic year is the perfect time to tell parents about the value of Cambridge English Qualifications. Use our materials to help them understand why they should register their child for an exam and help them feel involved in their child’s learning from the start.

Holding an event for parents

An event for parents is a great way to let them know about the benefits of taking an exam, and what they can expect at every stage of the journey. We provide you with all the information you need to answer any questions they might have. The start of the exam journey can be a busy time, so our downloadable materials are quick and easy to get started with. Use them to host parents’ evenings, language workshops, open days, and more.

Events toolkit

Our complete toolkit offers all the materials you need to hold an informative and successful event for parents. From invites to posters and handouts for parents to take home, we’ll support you to run a session that leaves them feeling engaged and enthusiastic about their child’s exams.

Presentations for parents

These presentations help you to involve and engage parents in their child’s exam journey. Give them an overview of the exams, explain how results are reported and show them where to access free resources to support their child. We have different versions available depending on the qualifications you offer.

"The results are motivating for him. He was amazed about how well he did; he’s looking forward to doing it again!"
