Why did you choose to take C1 Advanced?

Firstly, I decided to take C1 Advanced because nowadays demonstrating one’s level of English is absolutely necessary, not only for your career in the future, but also studies at university in the present. Once I passed B2 First, I kept on with my English studies. What is more, Cambridge exams are highly recognised and it’s a plus on my CV.

How do you think C1 Advanced has helped you to achieve your goals?

I believe that having C1 Advanced has helped me very much because when I finished school and I had to take the university entrance exams, I obtained the highest mark in English (not in Spanish, or Catalan, which are the two languages I spoke at home). Furthermore, at university I am studying Journalism with IMP (International Media Program) which I couldn’t do if I had not taken C1 Advanced.

What would you say to someone thinking about taking C1 Advanced?

I would highly recommend taking C1 Advanced because it is a completely worthwhile exam, and what is more, a fantastic learning experience, and this is irreplaceable. Cambridge exams are really complete and prepare you perfectly for studying, working and living in English.
