Why did you choose to take C1 Advanced?

I am a secondary school science teacher working in bilingual programmes in different schools. Teaching science in English has helped to improve my fluency, but also to realise how important it is for the kids to have a teacher with a good command of the language.

How do you think C1 Advanced has helped you to achieve your goals?

I decided to study for C1 Advanced because I wanted to give the best to my students. The months I spent preparing were a motivation to become better at teaching my subject. Unluckily, my contract ended at the end of the school year, and due to the severe cuts in education I have not been able to find a new job in public schools. However, thanks to my C1 Advanced qualification, I have started two jobs in private centres as an English teacher. I am really excited about these new jobs, and very glad I invested my time and money in preparing for the exam last year.

What would you say to someone thinking about taking C1 Advanced?

A C1 Advanced certificate is essential for the professional world nowadays. Everybody is trying to get an English qualification and you have not got a second to lose. C1 Advanced is an excellent option to stand out from the crowd, and it will open up job possibilities in your country and abroad.
