Exams and tests
You are here:
Your students now have more choice and flexibility than ever, with two ways to take their Cambridge English Qualification: on paper or on a computer. Both exams are taken at an authorised exam centre, your school or an external venue and include a face-to-face Speaking test.
As our computer-based exams test the same knowledge and skills as our paper-based exams, there’s no need to change how you prepare or teach your courses. We provide comprehensive resources to support you and your students in whatever exam format they prefer.
Our computer-based exams offer the following benefits for your students:
Results usually received in 10-15 working days.
Registration five days before the exam.
Students can enjoy an improved exam experience.
The exams also include enhanced audio and visual features to help your students stay in control during the test for the best chance of success.
Learn more about these features, discover videos to help familiarise your students with the computer-based exams and hear what candidates have to say.
Our free teaching resources are suitable for both computer-based and paper-based exams. Explore and download lesson plans, vocabulary lists, sample papers and more, for all our Cambridge English Qualifications. We also have Speaking test example videos that you can use to familiarise students with the tests.
