  • taking a face-to-face or blended learning course with an approved centre
  • taking a distance learning programme with an approved provider.

Ways to take DELTA

In addition, you can also prepare independently by:

  • reading and studying independently using reference books
  • observing other teachers to experience new techniques, materials and resources
  • asking your colleagues to observe you when you are teaching lessons, giving you constructive feedback
  • thinking about your strengths and weaknesses as a teacher. You can use the Cambridge English Teaching Framework to help you determine your strengths and weaknesses.

Module One sample tests

These sample tests show you what a full test paper will look like and the types of questions that will appear. The examination report describes how candidates performed in these tests and offers you guidance on how to prepare for your examination.
