We’ve developed a new Statement of Results for our Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers exams taken from 1 September 2020.
Cambridge English Qualifications for young learners are designed to support learning and provide a positive experience that gives learners a sense of achievement and helps build their confidence.
Our new Statement of Results has been designed to further support this learning by giving students detailed feedback and helping them to understand their progress.
Our research highlighted that schools and parents want richer, faster and online results and that feedback on strengths and weaknesses are more appropriate than scores for this age group.
We’ve developed a Statement of Results based on this research and you can find out more about this in our latest research article: Improving Feedback for Young Learners: Introducing the New Statement of Results for Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers.
Learners receive personalised feedback in their Statement of Results including:
They also receive up to five shields for each part of the exam (Speaking, Listening and Reading and Writing).

The new Statement of Results is available in English as well as bilingual versions in the following languages:
Bilingual feedback enables learners and their parents to easily understand strengths, weaknesses and ideas for further practice.

Schools and parents are now able to access learner results directly through their preparation centre and our Online Results Service as soon as they're available.
By making results available online, learners have access to their results more quickly and before receiving their certificate.
For a more detailed look at the new Statement of Results watch the recording of our recent webinar Introducing new personalised results for Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers.
The webinar will show you how to use the personalised feedback to inform future teaching and learning and how it can support you when talking to parents about their child’s progress.
