CELTA, the leading teaching English language teaching qualification that has helped hundreds of thousands of people qualify as a teacher of English as a Second Language, is celebrating its 30th birthday.
50 exam centres in UK, Ireland and Malta are holding events to mark the occasion and say thank you to all the dedicated people who have contributed to the success of the last 30 years.
CELTA was established by Cambridge Assessment English in September 1988. It is a practical qualification that gives people the confidence and skills they need to successfully teach English as a second language and courses are available at over 300 approved centres in more than 70 countries.
