Cambridge Assessment English welcomed 12 official exam centres from around the world to Triangle, Cambridge Assessment’s headquarters in Cambridge.
The exam centre managers came from France, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Peru, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, Colombia, Italy, Brazil and Spain. They took part in a series of workshops to learn more about the best ways of providing support to learners of English around the world.
Yasmin Hanspall, Centre Development Manager from Cambridge Assessment English said:
‘At Cambridge Assessment English our mission is to help people learn English and prove their skills to the world, and our exam centres play a huge part in this. It was a real pleasure to welcome everyone to Cambridge from such a wide range of countries. A big highlight for me was the ‘Making Connections’ session which provided a great chance for people to share stories, ideas and challenges. This gave a really good insight into how we can all continue to help the millions of people around the world working towards a Cambridge English Qualification.’
There was also a special event at Magdalene College, part of the University of Cambridge.
