Tecnológico de Monterrey, a private Mexican university, is the most prestigious private institution in Latin America and it ranks in the top universities worldwide. Students at this university can study business, economics, engineering and medical science amongst many other faculties. All students studying at this university must have an English level of at least B2 to be able to graduate and they must hold a certificate to prove it. From 2020 onward, the university accepts Linguaskill results to certify their graduating students. Every year around ten thousands students graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Linguaskill is a ground breaking online test from Cambridge Assessment English. It uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence to produce a detailed report. It assesses reading, writing, listening and speaking with results available in only 48 hours.
María Teresa Guadalupe Tejeda González, National Head of Languages Centres, said:
“We prepare our students for their professional life. As our society becomes more connected, more employers now expect candidates to have a higher level of English. We want our students to have the best preparation in English so they can achieve much better opportunities.” She continues, “We have tested already all the students who graduated in May and we will carry on testing all the students who will graduate across the next few months and coming years. Linguaskill is our official test for graduation purposes, it measures accurately the level of English and it’s easy to manage as the administration platform, Metrica, is very user-friendly. It adjusts to the way we process scores reports as it provides results in a short time”.
Tecnológico de Monterrey already accepts Cambridge English Qualifications.
