Following a review of the teaching qualifications we provide, ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching) will be discontinued from July 2020. This means that the last ICELT courses will begin before 30 April 2019. Contact your ICELT centre for further details of courses available.
Depending on skills you are looking to develop, we recommend the following teaching qualifications and courses as suitable alternatives:
Develop in your own classroom with ICELT, the qualification for EFL teachers who want to improve their English language teaching skills, knowledge and confidence.
It is suitable for experienced, practising teachers working in any teaching context. You can take ICELT if you want to develop in your current role, or if you want to transfer your skills to a new role.
Because ICELT is an in-service teaching qualification, it can be adapted to your specific needs and teaching context.
ICELT is at Developing to Proficient stages on the Cambridge English Teaching Framework.
I feel that ICELT has empowered me to make very informed decisions whenever issues are raised or things come up unexpectedly in class, and it has also improved my results in terms of student satisfaction.
Find a centre and register for your ICELT course.
