We are no longer accepting new courses and entries for CELT-S. However, we will continue to provide support for the course until 31 July 2023*.
If you are looking to offer or take an alternative course for secondary teachers, we have our CELTA and Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) qualifications. Both are designed for new and experienced teachers who want to develop and prove their teaching skills with an internationally recognised certificate.
We also offer online teacher development courses, which can be taken as self-study and include many of the topics covered in CELT-S.
*Support for China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan will be available until 31 October 2023.

Participants who complete all the modules and assessments will receive the CELT-S qualification. The qualification is awarded at Pass or Pass with Merit.
The Turkish Education Association (TED) offered their teachers a CELT-S qualification to enhance and develop their classroom skills and improve their confidence. The blended learning course meant online modules could be completed at a time that was convenient to the teachers. By combining study with work, teachers could immediately use their new skills in the classroom.
